Management & planning in the leisure industries

The leisure industries incorporate a wide range of fast-gowing services, from major tourist attractions appealing to an international market, to local community sports provisions. The problems faced by managers and planners are complex, varied and challenging, yet the reading and support materials specifically addressing this socially and economically important sector of industry are limited. This book attempts to provide frameworks through which responses to leisure-management problems can be evaluated.
