European practices for social integration through sport

Sport is a powerful tool to reinforce social cohesion as well as to prevent violence linked to exclusion and discrimination given that it disseminates values including tolerance, respect, solidarity and fair-play.

This publication is the result of work carried out in 2015 and 2016 as part of the European project 'European Prize for Social Integration through Sport -Sport+' This project was co-funded by the European Commission and involved the collaboration of the European Form for Urban Security.
