This study has aimed to provide more informed evidence and background on what is happening to the European Sport Model at large through undertaking a mapping of the evolution of sport governance regulations, finances and practices in different places and different organised sports over time. It also aimed to examine how the European Sport Model is adapting to the differing conditions and contexts affecting organised sports in different Member States across the EU.
