With the lack of research on event bidding in the Netherlands, this research will focus on the understanding of what it means to win the bid for an international sport event by identifying the key success factors of the biding process. In this research, the most important key success factors will be identified and what the influence on the winning bid will be. The question of this research will be stated as followed: What are the determinants of a winning international sport bid in the Netherlands?
